A typical day starts about 2 hours before sunrise. Your guide will bring you hot breakfast sandwiches, steaming coffee and hot chocolate, and head into the field. We will arrive at the field in anywhere from 2 minutes to 30 minutes. We will open up the 20 foot trailer, set up the flood lights, and light up the Once we reach our limits, we will pack up and head out for a good hearty lunch depending on where we hunted that morning. After lunch, perhaps a quick snooze, and then we'll head back out in the afternoon for some puddle duck hunting at a slough, or competitive trap shoot for you and your buddies. Looser buys first round. Evening has us eating a gourmet meal, while swapping stories from the days hunt. Early to bed, so we can do it all over again. A 3-day hunt includes 3 morning goose hunts, and 2 afternoon duck shoots or trap shoots.
All trips include transportation, food and drinks based on the duration of the trip. If you have any allergies or food preferences, please discuss this with us prior to the trip in order for us to insure your satisfaction. Please bring your favorite pair of binoculars and/or spotting scope, sunscreen, bug spray, polarized glasses, a rain coat, a rain hat, and an insulation layer. This is Calgary, and the weather can change very quickly and dramatically! Cast and Blast days Come Hunting with Us |
